‘Wi Wurri’ is the second of only two ‘non revamped up market’ properties’ to let on the beach.

The family owned bungalow and previous peaceful sanctuary for author, playwright and screen writer,   the late Snoo Wilson – it has been  left as a family home, filled with books and affords a modern and peaceful holiday accommodation.

There are two double bedrooms one with an en-suite bath and shower (but also accessible independently) and a further toilet and shower room.   Linen and towels are of course provided.

The open plan layout comprises a functional kitchen area with space for dining  expanding through to a  comfortable sitting area, with a wood burning stove and  on to the more formal lounge with views across the beach towards the nuclear power station.

The house enjoys oil central heating and benefits from good WI FI reception (from Vfast) with TV and DVD player provided.   In the kitchen there is a washing machine, dishwasher and an iconic ‘Smeg’ fridge freezer.

To the front is a veranda, partially concealed by lush vegetation but affording uninterrupted views across the beach to the ‘Channel’ and  decking to the rear offers a great place for enjoying the afternoon and early evening sun.

The Romney Hythe & Dymchurch Railway (RH&DR) railway station with its recently revamped cafeteria is a few hundred yards stroll away as is the ‘Old’ Lighthouse’ – with its 170 odd steps to the top (for the energetic visitor, and the fantastic 360 degree views.
